Dear parents/caregivers,
Please be advised that due to the uncertainty of the current situation in our local area, a decision has been made to postpone the Springer Progress Conversations which were due to take place on Wednesday 11 August until Wednesday 1 September and transition to an online format for these conversations. Due to the transition to an online format, and the change of date, regrettably parents will be required to rebook their Springer Progress Conversations. Information regarding this process will be released in the coming week and we apologise for any inconvenience.
As a school, we recognise that regular contact between parents and staff is important for supporting the academic success of our students and so we encourage parents to reach out to staff they had booked interviews with in the meantime via email. A full list of staff emails can be found on our school website: https://springfieldcentralshs.eq.edu.au/our-school/our-staff.
The postponement of the Springer Progress Conversations also means that the change to school hours which communicated to parents on Friday 16 July with Year 7-10 reporting, will no longer apply. As the lockdown has ended, school will operate as normal and students should attend school from 9am-3pm.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the school via phone (3470 6222) or email (admin@springfieldcentralshs@eq.edu.au) should you have questions regarding the contents of this email.
Yours truly,
Anne Lawson
Principal
