At Springfield Central State High School, we provide families with the flexibility to choose a device that best suits their personal needs and budget. While we do not endorse any specific brand, model, or supplier, all devices must meet the minimum specifications and have a compatible operating system to support learning effectively.

Students are expected to have a laptop that meets the minimum curriculum requirements outlined above.
Accessories & Additional Recommendations

Support Local Businesses
We encourage families to support local IT providers who offer BYOD purchasing options and expert advice. Local businesses in the community can help guide you to select a device that meets school specifications.
For further information or assistance, please contact the school’s IT Department.
Supplier Portals
A number of IT suppliers have designed and provided BYOD portals for parents to access. These portals provide a number of services in one location, including the purchase of protective cases/bags, Insurance policies and Accidental Damage Protection.
