In 2027 Music Academy will provide students in Years 7 to 9 with meaningful opportunities to develop musical excellence, creativity, collaboration, leadership, and confidence through high-quality ensemble and performance experiences.

The program aims to foster a strong sense of belonging and school pride by creating pathways for students to participate in contemporary band performance opportunities within the school and wider community.

Music Academy will seek to support student wellbeing and engagement by connecting students with like-minded peers and providing authentic artistic experiences that align with SCSHS vision of Believe, Belong, Become.

The Music Academy is designed to empower students to push boundaries, challenge themselves, and excel in their respective fields. We encourage all students in Years 7 to 9 who are passionate about Music to apply and take advantage of this unique learning opportunity.
