What is the SRC?
The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a student-led body that represents the interests, ideas, and concerns of students at Springfield Central State High. The SRC plays a vital role in improving student life, organising events, and fostering leadership opportunities. By working collaboratively with staff and the school community, the SRC aims to create a positive and inclusive school environment.
Who is our SRC and how is it structured?
Our 2025 SRC is made up of dedicated student leaders across all year levels who have been elected to represent their peers. The SRC follows a structured leadership model to ensure fair representation and effective decision-making. The hierarchy includes:
School Captains - Oversee the entire SRC, represent students at school and external events.
House Captains - Lead their respective house groups, foster school spirit, and support inter-house activities.
Year Level Prefects - Advocate for students in their year level and assist in organising events.
Junior School Captains - Provide leadership in Years 7-9 and contribute to student-led initiatives.
Junior House Captains - Support house teams, promote student engagement, and develop school culture.

- Delivering a short speech or statement outlining your vision and leadership qualities.
- Participating in a student vote, where your peers and teachers elect representatives.
