Each year, Springfield Central State High School proudly presents a full-scale musical production, showcasing the incredible talents of our students both onstage and behind the scenes. Our school musical is a highlight of the cultural calendar, bringing together performers, musicians, technicians, designers, and the wider school community for a truly unforgettable experience.
In 2025, we are thrilled to present Into the Woods, a Tony Award-winning musical written by James Lapine with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Into the Woods brings together some of the most beloved characters from classic fairy tales – Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, and more – in a story that explores what happens after "happily ever after." Through wit, humour, and heartfelt moments, the musical reminds us that every wish comes at a cost, and that no journey is ever as simple as it seems.

Pre-show & Intermission Kiosk:
Our Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association will operate a kiosk before the show and during intermission, offering snack-style food and beverages including sandwiches, wraps, cold salads, and confectionery. We encourage families to arrive early, enjoy a refreshment, and support our school community.
