Bus Queensland is currently preparing for 2021 and we would like to take this opportunity to remind parents to ensure that they have a valid fare or bus pass for the start of term 1. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in emailing the below to the parents of your school.

School Buses for 2021

Bus Queensland would like to remind all parents that you will need to apply for a new bus pass for 2021 if any of the following applies to you:

  • You have changed your address
  • Your child is changing schools
  • Your Centrelink Concession or Health Care Card details have changed

The easiest way to apply for a new pass is to go to : https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/public/school/school-transport-assistance/apply-for-school-transport-assistance

New passes will be mailed out early in the new year. If you have applied online and not received your new card by week 2 of Term 1, please call us. A reminder that TransLink services will remain cashless until June 2021. This means if you do not have a bus pass, you will need to purchase a go card. Visit the Translink website for further information at www.translink.com.au

If there are no changes to the above, then you will automatically be issued with a new bus pass.

There are a number of changes to school routes for Westside Bus Company and Park Ridge Transit for next year. Please visit our website for further details at www.busqld.com.au

Have a safe and happy holiday.
