Dear Parents/ Guardians,

Multicultural Day will be held Friday 18th September.

However, this year due to COVID-19 the day will be structured a little differently.

Students will be performing but due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to invite parents into school to watch. We will be filming performances and will make the footage available on Friday. A direct link to the footage will be sent via text and will be advertised on our social media pages.

We will be having a picnic on the oval as part of the celebrations. Students are invited to bring a picnic blanket and a picnic lunch.

Students are also encouraged to wear cultural dress, remembering that sun safety and safety standards still apply. Dress needs to be appropriate, shoulders will need to be covered and closed in shoes will need to be worn.

On the Friday, if your student needs to leave school before the end of the school day, please remember our usual processes. Parents/Guardians will need to provide a notification that their student will be collected early and a leave pass will be generated. Notification can be provided via:

We are looking forward to celebrating this day albeit on a smaller scale this year. Kind Regards
